Fish in the quiet protected waters of the Essex River and Bay. The calm waters make this a suitable adventure for adults and children of all ages. This is a great area to learn how to fish. Fish species available during the season are striped bass, flounder, and bluefish.

You will fish in the calm waters of the Essex River before proceeding to the semi-protected near shore waters of Ipswich and Plum Island Sound.  This is a great adventure for beginners and experienced anglers to catch striped bass and bluefish.

Fish in the waters surrounding Essex, Ipswich, Gloucester, and Rockport.  You will pass through the mouth of the Essex River to fish in Ipswich Bay, the Annisquam River, Gloucester Harbor, and Rockport to fish for mackerel, striped bass, and bluefish. 

A fishing or whale watch trip is offered to the offshore banks of Cape Ann. You will pass through the mouth of the Essex River and proceed to the offshore banks where we can fish for bait, mackerel, striped bass, bluefish, sharks, and tuna.  (4 Passenger Maximum)

This adventure combines our Essex River Cruise Sightseeing Trip with a hands-on lobster demonstration. Experience lobster fishing and ecology up close. Try hauling a lobster trap with the assistance of Captain Ted. You may even be lucky enough to bring a lobster home for dinner.
